A long, long time ago, in a land of tall mountains and sandy deserts, there lived a strong and powerful tribe called ‘Aad. They were known for their tall buildings and mighty strength. The people of Aad were big and bold—but they forgot something very important.
They forgot Allah, the One who created them.
Instead of thanking Allah and being kind, the people of Aad became proud. They built huge palaces, thinking they would live forever. They laughed at the poor and made fun of people who prayed. Worst of all, they started worshipping idols made of stone.
So Allah, out of His love and mercy, sent them a prophet to guide them back to the right path. His name was Hud (alayhis-salaam).
A Prophet With a Message
Prophet Hud was a kind and wise man from their own tribe. He stood tall and spoke with love. He said:
“O my people! Worship Allah alone. You have no god but Him. Don’t you see the blessings He has given you?”
He reminded them of the rain that fell from the sky, the crops that grew from the earth, and the strength they had been given.
But the people just laughed.
“Why should we listen to you?” they said.
“You are just a man like us. We don’t believe in this storm you talk about!”
Prophet Hud tried again and again. He was patient and never gave up. But only a few believed in him. The rest became even more stubborn.
A Warning in the Wind
Then, something strange happened.
The skies grew dark. The wind began to blow—slowly at first, then stronger and stronger. The people of Aad had never seen anything like it. They still didn’t believe Prophet Hud.
“Is this the storm you warned us about?” they said, laughing.
But the wind kept blowing.
Day after day, the storm grew wilder. It wasn’t like any normal wind—it howled like a lion and roared through the land. Trees were ripped from the ground. Houses were smashed to pieces.
The people ran, but there was nowhere to hide. The wind chased them like a giant beast.
For eight days and seven nights, the mighty wind roared and raged. And when it finally stopped, the entire land was silent. The once-great tribe of Aad was gone.
A New Beginning
Only Prophet Hud and the few who believed in Allah were saved. They had trusted in Allah, and He had protected them.
Prophet Hud moved to another place with his followers, and they lived in peace, always remembering Allah’s mercy.
The Lesson of the Storm
Dear children, the story of Prophet Hud (alayhis-salaam) teaches us a beautiful lesson:
🌟 Never be proud or ungrateful.
🌟 Always remember Allah, who gives us everything.
🌟 And always follow the truth, even if others laugh at you.
The wind that destroyed the people of Aad wasn’t just a storm—it was a reminder that true strength comes from being humble, kind, and faithful to Allah.
